#KB3Dchallenge Concept for the Kitbash 3d Challenge: Mission to Minerva.
In this concept we have both mining operation and terraforming, taking advantage of the greenhouse gasses emittedfrom producing enery for the operation and processing the raw materials extracted from the soil, the terrain composition and the presence of Iron Oxide might indicate the presence of liquid water in the past.
Spent most of the time trying to figure out the composition, i wanted the cargo ship to be the focalpoint but i also wanted a broader view of the scene, and the massive scale of the operation, i also worked a lot on the set dressing, integrating the man made kitbash structures with a few natual assets from the Quixel library.
I also wanted the red sand to be present in every crevices of the soil, so i added that to the scans with the shader graph in blender using the occlusion to drive the presenc of the sand.
